You don’t know if the lawyer is good or not.
Maybe you found them on the internet or got a recommendation from someone you know.
You don’t know your odds of success. You don’t know if the work is done by a senior attorney or quietly passed to someone junior in the background.
Not because the laws are not established, but because the way the system actually works is.
Why Manifest is possible
Manifest exists because two things changed at once.
Law firm regulations shifted in some states, allowing new kinds of law firms to exist.
Large language models made it possible to eliminate massive amounts of bureaucratic legal work while improving the ultimate legal outcomes
For the first time in over a century, the old system could be challenged.
What we built
We started by removing the work clients shouldn’t pay for and lawyers shouldn’t do. Paper pushing. Manual drafting. Redundant review.
By making lawyers dramatically more efficient, we were able to change the main pillar of modern law firms.
We killed the billable hourly rate and made our pricing fixed, transparent and upfront. Once we eliminated the billable hour, we had nothing to hide.
So we made the “under the hood” law firms processes visually available to our clients so every client knows, at every moment, where their case stands and what work has been done.
